Resumo:In Mozambique, planning and budgeting for the basic social security sector starts with the preparation of the Medium-Term Fiscal Scenario, which provides the basis for the Social and Economic Plans and the State Budget proposals. The Cabinet of Ministers assesses these proposals and submits the documents for Parliament’s approval for the following year. Even in light of recent advances, Mozambique still faces technical and structural challenges regarding the sector.
